Before starting to answer this question, two to three things must be explained. The definition of poverty, charity and how do these charity help the poor- these three things must be made clear. According to UNESCO, income poverty is the situation when the total income of the family fails to meet the fixed per capita income of that country. It also refers to the situation where the basic needs of the household remain unfulfilled. The issue of reducing poverty is a matter of international worry but very amazingly there exists no international mandate on the steps to measure the level of poverty.
